Epic triumph: Wout and Hans reach the podium at the Cape Epic 2024 with a third place

The Cape Epic is one of the most demanding stage races in the world, and the BUFF-MEGAMO TEAM has once again returned to give its best. On this occasion, the team participated with two pairs: Hans Becking with Wout Alleman and José Dias with Enrique Morcillo. The riders have overcome a total of 700 km and 16,000 m of accumulated altitude gain, distributed in seven stages and a prologue that started on Sunday, March 17.
After eight incredibly intense days, the BUFF-MEGAMO TEAM has secured two stage victories, four podiums and achieved third and seventh place in the overall classification. We are extremely proud of the tireless effort and dedication shown by the team during this demanding competition.
Hans Becking and Wout Alleman have demonstrated exceptional strength and strategy from the outset. Their outstanding teamwork and race management led them to a well-deserved third place in the overall standings, just 29 seconds ahead of the runners in second place.
Equally noteworthy was the outstanding performance of José Dias and Enrique Morcillo. Their consistent display of strength and endurance has kept them in the top ten throughout the week, finally securing a seventh place in the overall standings.
The BUFF-MEGAMO TEAM has left an indelible mark on this Cape Epic, showing the world the true spirit of competition and the exceptional performance of the Track, with a unique design for this occasion.
